Lucky Goat Coffee Company, Grand Opening

6 May 2015
Owners Ben and Brooke Pautsch with the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce as their son has the honor of cutting the grand opening ribbon.

The grand opening of a new business location is always an occasion to celebrate a new beginning and to share the festive, entrepreneurial spirit with the local public. However, when such a grand opening is necessitated by the fact that the business owner outgrew their last location— you are also celebrating the evolution of a business. Such is the story of the Lucky Goat Coffee Company, a local Tallahassee business which didn’t start by selling coffee, but rather, by selling essential supplies used by coffee shops. Now, the company has evolved into a roastery, tasting room and a large distribution company, all operating out of their new 10,000 square foot space at 668 Capital Circle NE.

Compass Marketing has had the privilege of working with Lucky Goat over the past six months as their business has grown and was thrilled to assist Lucky Goat Coffee in preparing for this significant event. It was launched by a ribbon cutting ceremony, followed by roastery tours, live music, giveaways and, of course— great coffee. The opening also served as a celebration of local businesses supporting one another, as we put our sweet and savory cravings to rest by enjoying fare from Canopy Roads Brewing, Treva’s Pastries and Fine Foods, Madison Social, Raley’s Confectionary and The Cake Shop at the event.
